personality. A bit of a spitfire, and a bit of a flirt, Azeja is a believer in fate and tarot. Feeling as though she's been guided all her life, her natural talent as a fortune-teller confirmed her belief. Nonetheless, years of working in the oldest profession in the world has given her an excellent skill at acting which makes her true personality rare for most to see, but for those that have seen it, she is fiercely loyal. Strongly empathetic and stubborn, rarely does she look on anything or anyone in pure black and white terms, and thus her insecurities in herself lead her to be easily misled, and her sense of justice causes her to jump into danger when a cooler head might stay back. dalmascan orphan Very obvious by her natural accent, Azeja is Dalmascan born. Despite many of the secrets she does keep, she is open about being an orphan who never knew her parents. That she was raised by Miqo'te clan elders whose real focus was placating the occupying Garleans rather than raising children. How a child of Dalmasca found herself in Eorzea is the greater secret, one she's coy about, as are the whereabouts of current home, though most roads lead to somewhere in the Black Shroud. changing fates The last time anyone saw Azeja, she was a student in Ishgard. And few noticed her disappearance, fewer still noticed her return. But if one had noticed, she was hardly the same woman. Who she was before was replaced by a woman of resolve. The spitfire flirt had found purpose, unable to turn back to her old profession and instead chose to pursue something new.

Before I came here, my life was about running away, but as you know, I can't run away anymore.

Soul of the Astrologian. Like many who attend the Ishgardian schools for astrology, Azeja earned herself a soul stone through rigorous study and disciplined practice, or so she told the exam proctors when her test answers were surprisingly similar to another student's. In spite of the evidence, she still received the stone and graduated to the next step of her teachings.

Soul of the Dark Knight. The Order of the Dark Knight is one of Ishgard's best kept secrets. The Dark Knights fought for those who couldn't fight for themselves, and their disagreements with the church put them at odds. The vaults of Ishgard contain many secrets for the thief to find. The church knew to stop of the spread of the order, they had to limit the teachings and no few soul stones were taken under this premise when a knight was executed. In a well-planned heist, Azeja was called by fate to one of the soul stones in the vault, but this would not be where her darkside was born.

An old tormenter, a new mentor. In the shadows of Azeja's past, the purpose of her disappearance, someone she thought she could escape from returned to her life. So quickly old habits return, old beliefs entrenched that Azeja was afraid to step away from. It was when she realized the depths how far she had fallen under the same spell, and betrayed in the same way, that Azeja's darkside emerged. A source of strength, but a secret source of weakness.

A huntress in training New resolutions arose as a result of that experience. A newfound promise to someone she loved and hated, a newfound belief to slay an ancient enemy, and new weapon, techniques gifted by a new mentor. The girl was to become a void hunter. Her kills thus far have been contained to the common voidsent. But she's getting stronger.

The Queen of Staves. Azeja is a friendly face. Her gothic attire and dyed hair might make you think she's in league with some kind of thug, and perhaps she is, but if she catches you looking, expect a smile and an invitation over.The King of Staves. Azeja is a natural entertainer. She loves to dance, and her talent with card tricks means her sleight of hand almost seems like magic.The Knight of Staves. Azeja doesn't overthink things. When action is called for in a dangerous scenario or an unexpected situation, she will try something even if it's the wrong decision.The Queen of Cups. Azeja suffers from visions and dreams that leave her looking haunted on the daily. Though she can cover it up easily, catch her unawares and you might find her with a thoughtful expression with something on her mind.The King of Cups. Azeja prefers not to fight if she can help. Her lack of control over her darkside makes her a chaotic fighter who can't hold back. Come at her with a challenge, she'll definitely try to talk you down unless you insist. Sometimes though, she simply needs to release her anger.The Knight of Cups. Azeja might relate to people on the streets, but she's just at home in formal events. Though a diplomatic speaker, she lacks subtlety in politics, and her strong ideals can make her seem tempermental.

The Page of Knives. Azeja rarely feels satisfied with where she's at. Always seeking new mysteries or new challenges, Azeja can be easily convinced into thinking something is fate and chasing her part to play in it.The King of Knives. Principles are something Azeja admires. From the highest noble to the notorious criminal, she doesn't stress over finding black and white meanings of right and wrong. Instead, she is impressed by those with conviction and tries to emulate them.The Knight of Knives. Azeja has a strong sense of justice. While she may not jump to the aid of anyone and everyone, if she sees something truly wrong, she will try to defend even at her own expense.The Queen of Rings. Azeja loves gambling and games of chance. Challenge her to a game of cards, but beware, she doesn't always play fair.The King of Rings. Azeja knows little of her Dalmascan heritage, and for a long time was separated from her Seeker culture due to the Garleans. Her accent gives her away however, and she is easily lulled by stories of the land.The Knight of Rings. Azeja is pretty coy with how she makes her money, but among the Gridania, there are rumors of a mint-haired Miqo'te who can tell you your future.
